Personal Background
Based on the joy it has always brought me to support others, I had known for a long time that my future would lie in offering professional care.

I was born and raised in Germany. Before moving to the UK in 2005 to study Psychology and Education at the University of the West of England, I spent two years at a Christian Bible School in Canada.

Throughout my time in Germany, Canada and the UK, I have worked with young people and adults in various settings, such as Canadian Native Reserves, homeless shelters, elderly care homes and chaplaincy work at a University.

I am a Registered and fully Accredited Member of the BACP, and adhere to their ethics and principles.

  • Level 6 BSc Psychology/Education (2008)
  • Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (2011)

About Antonia (MBACP Accred.)

I am a counsellor who believes hope is central to our lives.

We all need hope and we are not always able to find it on our own. What I offer you as a counsellor:

Seeking and finding hope together. Listening and understanding, no matter how dark, sad or complex. Exploring thoughts and behaviours without judgement. Working through difficult episodes in the past or the present and looking at change for the future.
